Just as a brief heads up, I am making a few small changes to #Dragon-Ball-VF:

First of all, I am removing the "Original Cast" folder. There are plenty of clubs out there for DBZ in general, as well as groups for specific characters. The focus of DBVF is, and should be, on your FAN CHARACTERS. This means that from now on, if you want to submit a drawing of a cannon character to VF, one of your OCs should be in the image as well.

Secondly, there are a few things little things that have been frustrating for me as a mod that I would like to address, so I will deal with each one of those one at a time:

•PLEASE submit fanfics to DBVF in correct Sequential Order. Just like I am not going to allow illustrations into the group without looking at them, I'm not going to allow fanfics into the group without reading them either. If you want your fic in the group, I have to read it, and therefore submitting 12+ chapters of a fanfic completely out of order is very unnerving for me. Please submit them in order from 1-12 rather than sporadically. It ensures I get to read all 12 chapters, and that I don't have to re-arrange them when hitting the 'yes' button. As a side note along those lines - Fanfics will NO LONGER be accepted to Dragonball VF if they do not have at least one Original Character in the fic.

•I have noticed that a few people are confused about what art goes in which folders: ALL drawings of your characters are to go into the FEATURED FOLDER. I realize that some groups only keep the crème de la crème in their 'Featured Folder', but at VF I'd like to think everyone is worthy of having their art hosted there. The other folders are all SPECIALIZED folders;

-COUPLE ART is for illustrations involving a particular pairing. This pairing can be Het, Yaoi, or Yuri, and can involve Two OCs or An OC & a Cannon. Any two characters (or more, if it's a 'love triangle' or something) romantically involved can go here.

-DLA - DARK LEGION ARMY is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES (OR ART) Specifically pertaining to characters in the DLA Army Base

-DSA - NEO SAIYAJIN ARMY is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES (OR ART) Specifically pertaining to characters in the NSA Army Base

-S.O.F.S Affiliated is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES (OR ART) Specifically pertaining to characters in the S.O.F.S. Army Base

-RSA - RISING SAIYAN ARMY is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES (OR ART) Specifically pertaining to characters in the DLA Army Base

-NUMBERS is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES (OR ART)Specifically pertaining to characters in the 38 Numbers

-UNAFFILIATED SAIYANS is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES ONLY!! Things pertaining to 'Unaffiliated Saiyans', by default, will go into the featured folder!!

-HUMANS, ANDROIDS is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES ONLY!! Things pertaining to 'Humans, Androids', by default, will go into the featured folder!!

-OTHER ALIEN SPECIES is for CHARACTER BIOGRAPHIES ONLY!! Things pertaining to 'Other Alien Species', by default, will go into the featured folder!!

-CHIBIS is for CHIBI RENDITIONS of your characters

-STAMPS is for STAMPS supporting your/DBZ OCs

-COMICS, FANFICTION is for Comics and/or Fanfiction involving your OCs

-COSPLAY, PHOTOGRAPHY is for Cosplay and/or Photography involving your OCs. (As a side note - we will still allow images of the original cast to go here, for now)

-BUDOKAI VECTORS is for Vectored Pieces of your OCs, made to look like art from any of the Budokai/Tenkaiichi games. (As a side note - LSW Sprites would also go into this category)

-TRIUMPH OF VEGETASEI is for art pertaining specifically to a 'what if planet Vegeta was never destroyed' type of scenario. It can involve both the Original Cast & how they would be affected, or your OCs and what they would be like in that sort of a dimension

Another thing that I have noticed is people occasionally trying to submit 'hate art'. I do not personally feel comfortable with anyone bashing on anyone's elses favorite character, OC or Cannon. Hate art is not supported by Deviantart, is against the TOS, childish and immature, and will not be accepted to Dragonball VF. You are not allowed to submit stamps, illustrations, or fanfics, of your character beating up someone else's OC or one of the Cannon Characters simply because YOU HATE THEM.  If the piece is simply an illustration or narrating of a fight, this is, of course, acceptable, but 'hate art' is something completely different.
